Henna is dried powdered leaves of the plant Lawsonia inermis, a dye commonly used for colouring hair. It can also condition, revitalise, nourish and bring out the natural beauty of your hair.

Bonvit Henna Powders are not permanent colours. The effects will gradually fade as the hair is washed.

Ingredients:

Lawsonia inermis, picramic acid.

Directions:

  1. Wash and dry your hair well before use.
  2. Do not use conditioning products or oils before using this product. Your hair must be clean and free of dirt, oils and anything else that may act as a barrier to absorption or react with the mixture.
  3. Wear rubber gloves.
  4. Empty contents (100g) into a non-metallic bowl and add 300ml of very warm water, mix well to produce a smooth, rich paste then leave to cool slightly to a warm temperature for use.
  5. Spread evenly through your hair using a non-metallic brush or comb. Pass the comb from the roots up through your hair for an even application.
  6. Using your hands and wearing gloves work the mixture in and through your hair while still hot/warm, add more water if the mixture becomes too thick. Make sure the paste goes to the roots of the hair.
  7. Leave the mixture on your hair for not less than 90 minutes. The longer the mixture is on your hair the better. For better results leave the mixture in your hair for 2 or 3 hours.
  8. Wash your hair thoroughly with water and rinse until the water runs clear then use a hair dryer for 10 to 15 minutes.

  • This product contains ingredients which may cause skin allergy to certain individuals.
  • A preliminary test according to the accompanying directions should be made before use.
  • This product must not be used for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows; to do so may be injurious to the eye.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes, do not swallow.
  • Do not use if you have a rash on your face or scalp, or sensitive, irritated or damaged scalp or if you have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair with plant based or other hair colourations or if you are sensitive to or allergic to this product.
  • If you have ever experienced any allergic sensitivity, in the event of any reaction or when in doubt seek medical advice before use.
  • Do not use this product on facial or body hair, it is only suitable for head (cranial) hair. Not suitable for skin art, temporary tattoos or any kind of skin treatment such use may result in allergic reaction.
  • This product is not to be used on children.
  • Do not use this product on hair that has been tinted, coloured or treated with any other product. Doing so will alter the final colour and the result is not predictable. Use only on clean, untreated, natural hair.

We offer free shipping on a large range of products, unless your product ships free, all Australian orders are charged a Flat rate of $7.95. For all orders over $99, shipping is free within Australia. Please specify under delivery comments should you require a signature on delivery, otherwise our couriers will drop off the parcel at a safe location.
Majority of our orders are delivered within 3-5 business days. Our couriers will keep you updated on delivery timings. You can also follow the tracking link sent to your shipping confirmation email
To get your products to you as quickly as possible, we choose your courier based on your location. We currently use courier services from Australia Post, Aramax and Sendle. All International Shipments are sent with Australia Post.

We offer exchange or refund for change of mind within 30 days of purchase. You can simply return your unopened and unused item back to us following our simple return process below. Please note, for returns due to change of mind, the shipping costs are at customer’s expense.

Placing an order Step by Step

  1. Search or browse the website (by brand or categories) to find the product you are looking for.
  2. Once you find the product, choose product attributes (size, flavour etc) and then click “ADD TO CART” button. Now you can continue shopping or check your shopping cart’s contents, by clicking on the cart icon in the upper right-hand corner.
