Slippery Elm has been used traditionally in Western herbal medicine for its demulcent and nutritive actions. It is a source of both water-soluble and water-insoluble fibre which swells upon contact with water providing a protective effect.

Indications:

Traditionally used in Western herbal medicine:

  • as a demulcent to soothe irritated tissues and gastro-intestinal tract mucous membranes.
  • to reduce loose stools and diarrhoea.
  • to help relieve mild gastrointestinal tract inflammation.

Ingredients:

Excipients 
Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium edetate, gellan gum, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, potassium acetate, povidone, silicon dioxide, water.

No added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours

Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Directions:

Adults: 2-3 vegie capsules 2-3 times daily.

Warnings:

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. For practitioner dispensing only.

Contraindicated in intestinal obstruction.

Take with plenty of water to reduce the risk of oesophageal obstruction.

Consume at least 2 hours away from ingestion of medication.

Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.

Seek medical advice if diarrhoea persists for more than: 6 hours in infants under 6 months, 12 hours in children under 3 years, 24 hours in children aged 3 to 6 years or 48 hours in adults and children over 6 years.

If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.

For all orders over $99, shipping is free within Australia. Please specify under delivery comments should you require a signature on delivery, otherwise our couriers will drop off the parcel at a safe location.

We offer exchange or refund for change of mind within 30 days of purchase. You can simply return your unopened and unused item back to us following our simple return process below. Please note, for returns due to change of mind, the shipping costs are at customer’s expense.

Placing an order Step by Step
